In the beginning

In 1937, from a lock-up garage in North-West London, J H Waring and P M Sebestyen established a company called Radiospares, supplying radio spare parts to radio repair shops. It was from there that RS began its journey to becoming the market leader it is today.

Bringing RS’s high service level distribution to South Asia

RS started its operation in South Asia in 1995, with the acquisition of its former distributor in Singapore. In 1996 and 1997, we established our offices in Malaysia and Philippines respectively. Leveraging on the business model as a high-level service provider, we extended our presence to Thailand in 2006. On top of that, we serve customers through our network of carefully selected local distributors in countries including Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia and Laos.

Supporting customers all over the world

RS worldwide now operates in 26 countries, covering all major economies in Europe, North America, Australasia and Asia. The RS high service level same day despatch service now covers all major cities in Asia including China.

RS also covers 160 countries worldwide via a distributor network.
